The Noakhali district administration has ordered the closure of all educational institutions due to severe waterlogging caused by ongoing heavy rainfall. District Commissioner Dewan Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the decision on Tuesday.
The relentless rain over the past month has led to repeated flooding across Noakhali town, with water even seeping into several government offices. Commissioner Rahman noted that most educational institutions in the district have been inundated, making it impossible to continue classes under current conditions.
