The Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal has announced a series of protest programs to be held across all districts and cities on Wednesday. The announcement was made through a press release by Jubo Dal Office Secretary MN Islam Sohel on Tuesday afternoon.
The press release emphasized the injustices faced by Jubo Dal leaders and activists over the past 15 years, including enforced disappearances, killings, and injuries. It also highlighted tragic incidents such as the October 28 mayhem, the Shapla Chattar tragedy, and recent student uprisings, during which over 1,000 children, students, and youths were killed or injured.
Jubo Dal’s protests will focus on demanding justice for these events and holding former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her forces accountable for their alleged involvement. The circular also mentioned that Central Executive Committee President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam have already issued instructions to ensure the success of the protests.
