Primary Schools Set to Reopen on Wednesday After Month-Long Closure

All primary schools across Bangladesh are scheduled to reopen on Wednesday after being closed for nearly a month. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has issued directives for the full resumption of classes in government primary schools. Additionally, the ministry has instructed the reopening of Child Welfare Trust-managed primary schools and the Bureau of Non-formal Education’s learning centers nationwide. The previous office order from August 3, which led to the closures, has been officially canceled.
