The postponed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams, delayed due to the anti-discrimination student movement, are set to be rescheduled within a month. Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, confirmed the update on Monday.
There have been rumors circulating on social media about the exams being conducted with a shortened syllabus or the possibility of auto passes. However, the National Curriculum and Textbook Board Coordination Committee has not issued such a notification. The Inter-Education Board Coordinating Committee clarified that the rescheduled exams will be conducted with full marks.
