The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations, originally scheduled for next Thursday, have been postponed by the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. This decision was communicated through a press release issued on Tuesday.
Citing unavoidable reasons, the board announced the postponement and assured that a new date for the exams will be announced in due course.
However, exams will proceed as scheduled from July 21, maintaining the previously announced dates.
In related news, all secondary and higher secondary educational institutions, along with polytechnic institutes under the Ministry of Education, will remain closed until further notice. This directive was issued on Tuesday evening, prioritizing the safety of students amidst clashes between Chhatra League and quota reform activists across Bangladesh.
