All secondary and higher secondary educational institutions and polytechnic institutes under the Ministry of Education will remain closed until further notice, the ministry announced on Tuesday evening.
This decision aims to ensure the safety of school and college students following violent clashes between Chhatra League members and quota reform activists across Bangladesh on Tuesday.
At least six people were killed in the clashes, with fatalities reported in Dhaka, Chittagong, and Rangpur. Two were killed in Dhaka, three in Chittagong, and one in Rangpur.
