Brac Bank PLC has set a new industry record by achieving a deposit growth of Tk5,500 crore in the first half of 2024. The bank celebrated this milestone at a ceremony held on Thursday at its head office, attended by key leaders including Chairperson Meheriar M Hasan, Managing Director and CEO Selim RF Hussain, and Deputy Managing Director Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque.
Meheriar M Hasan expressed his delight, stating, “We are thrilled to witness our strides towards doubling the business by 2026.” Selim RF Hussain attributed the growth to the continuous expansion of branches and sub-branches, strategic repositioning for maximum convenience, dedicated customer service, and enhancements in the digital banking spectrum.
Senior zonal heads Taher Hasan Al Mamun, AKM Tareq, regional heads, cluster managers, and branch managers were also present to celebrate this significant achievement.
