Kabirul Ezdani Khan, Executive Chairman of the National Pension Authority, and Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director of Eastern Bank PLC (EBL), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Dhaka on Wednesday. The signing ceremony was attended by Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Secretary of the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance.
The MoU enables EBL to collect monthly instalments from pension holders under the Universal Pension Scheme. Also present at the event were members of the National Pension Authority, Md Golam Mostafa and Md Murshidul Haque Khan, along with EBL’s Additional Managing Director Ahmed Shaheen.
