Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel announced that the first SSC and equivalent exams under the new curriculum are targeted for January 2026. This announcement was made during a press conference held at the International Mother Language Institute auditorium in the capital on Sunday afternoon, following the commencement of the HSC and equivalent exams.
Previously, the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) had declared that these exams would take place in early 2026. Additionally, efforts are being made to reschedule the SSC exams of 2025 to February.
