Bangladesh Railway commenced online sales of advance train tickets on Sunday morning, aiming to provide a hassle-free journey for passengers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
Tickets for June 12 trains became available on Sunday morning.
Sales for westbound trains began at 8 AM, while tickets for eastbound trains will be available at 2 PM. A top Bangladesh Railway official reported that the process is running smoothly so far.
Tickets for June 13, 14, 15, and 16 will be sold on June 3, 4, 5, and 6, respectively.
All tickets will be sold online, continuing the practice from previous occasions.
