To ensure hassle-free travel for holidaymakers during Eid-ul-Azha, the movement of heavy vehicles such as trucks, covered vans, and lorries (except those carrying sacrificial animals) will be suspended on highways for seven days, starting three days before the festival. Additionally, all CNG refueling stations nationwide will operate 24/7 for 12 days, starting seven days before Eid.
These decisions were made during a meeting at BRTA Bhaban, chaired by Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.
