The application deadline for admission into the 24 universities participating in the GST (General, Science and Technology) cluster system has been extended by one day due to disruptions caused by Cyclone Remal. Originally set for Tuesday, the deadline has now been moved to accommodate students facing internet issues.
Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain, convenor of the batch admission examination committee, confirmed the extension, noting that many areas experienced internet disruptions, making it difficult for students to complete their applications.
Previously, the A Unit (Science) Faculty exam was held on April 27, the B Unit (Humanities) Faculty exam on May 3, and the C Unit (Commerce) Faculty exam on April 10. Classes for the new academic year are scheduled to commence on August 1.
