With the release of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exam results, which boast an average pass rate of 83.04%, students now have the opportunity to request a review or challenge their grades if they are unsatisfied with the outcome. Starting from Monday, the review process will extend until May 19, providing ample time for students to seek reassessment. Tapan Kumar Sarker, Chairman of Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, emphasized that applicants can conveniently apply for reevaluation online, from the comfort of their homes. During the reevaluation process, four critical aspects of the answer scripts will be meticulously examined to ensure accuracy and fairness. These include verifying correct marking of all questions, accurate calculation of total marks, proper transfer of marks to the OMR sheet, and correct filling of circles on the OMR sheet corresponding to the obtained marks. Any discrepancies identified in these areas will be rectified, and revised results will be issued accordingly. The proactive approach of the education board underscores its commitment to maintaining transparency and integrity in the assessment process. As students await the outcome of their review requests, the education sector continues its dedication to fostering a conducive learning environment for all.
