The eagerly awaited results of this year’s SSC and equivalent exams have brought joy to over 182,000 students who achieved a stellar grade point average (GPA) of 5. While this figure is slightly lower than last year’s, it nonetheless reflects the academic prowess of a significant number of students across the nation. Among the GPA 5 achievers, 98,776 are female students, highlighting their remarkable academic achievements, while 83,353 are male students, showcasing their dedication to excellence. Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury presented the results summary to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, symbolizing the culmination of students’ hard work and dedication. Notably, this year’s pass rate stands at an impressive 83.04%, marking a 2.65% increase from the previous year, affirming the overall academic progress and success of students. The journey towards these results commenced on February 15, with written exams concluding on March 12 and practical exams concluding on March 20. A total of 2,024,192 students participated in the SSC and equivalent examinations under 11 education boards, underscoring the significance of these assessments in shaping the academic landscape of Bangladesh.
