To facilitate the construction of the Kamalapur Metro Rail Station, one lane of the Kamalapur-TT Para road will be closed for six months starting Monday, as confirmed by Mahfuzur Rahman, manager of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd.
During this period, vehicles traveling from TT Para to Kamalapur can utilize one of the two lanes, while vehicles heading from Kamalapur to TT Para will be redirected to a bypass road.
The closure aims to ensure safety during the construction of the station’s first floor, with completion expected within the designated six-month timeframe.
DMTCL’s ongoing project aims to expand the Mass Rapid Transit Line-6 from Motijheel to Kamalapur, contributing to enhanced transportation infrastructure in Dhaka.
