Prepare for the journey of a lifetime as the inaugural Hajj flight from Dhaka to Saudi Arabia is scheduled to take off on May 9. While the dates for subsequent flights are yet to be finalized, Muhammad Kamruzzaman, director of the Dhaka Hajj Office, assured passengers that schedules will be communicated soon. This year, a total of 4,289 individuals have registered for Hajj under government arrangements, with an additional 78,895 registered under private management. The pilgrimage is anticipated to commence on June 16, subject to moon sighting. As per tradition, Hajj flights typically kick off one month prior to the beginning of the pilgrimage, marking the start of a sacred journey for countless pilgrims embarking on this spiritual voyage.
