A scorching heatwave grips several districts including Rajshahi, Pabna, and Khulna, with forecasts indicating further escalation in temperatures.
According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, mild to moderate heatwaves persist in Dhaka, Rangpur, and Barisal divisions, alongside parts of Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, alongside Mymensingh, Moulvibazar, and Rangamati districts.
Sylhet division may experience rain or thunder showers accompanied by gusty winds and hail at isolated spots, while the remainder of the country is expected to stay dry with partly cloudy skies.
Daytime temperatures are anticipated to rise slightly, maintaining nighttime temperatures, albeit with persistent discomfort due to increased moisture levels.
