Bangladesh and Qatar embarked on a new chapter of collaboration, sealing 10 significant cooperation documents comprising five agreements and five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to fortify ties across various sectors.
The momentous signing ceremony was graced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, underscoring the commitment to elevate bilateral relations to unprecedented heights.
The agreements encompass diverse fields, including legal cooperation, mutual investment promotion, tax evasion prevention, maritime transport, and the establishment of a Joint Business Council (JBC) between FBCCI & QCCI.
On the other hand, the MoUs pave the way for cooperation in sports and youth affairs, labor employment, diplomatic training, education, higher education, and scientific research, as well as collaboration between Qatar Ports Management Company “MAWANI QATAR” and Chittagong Ports Authority.
