The deadline for filling up forms for the 2024 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination has been extended to May 5, allowing candidates more time to complete the process without incurring any late fees.
The Dhaka Education Board made this announcement on Sunday, indicating a welcome reprieve for HSC examinees.
According to the notice issued by the board, candidates now have until May 5 to complete their form fill-up process, with fee payment through Sonali Seba service extended to May 6.
Additionally, the period for late form fill-up has been extended from May 7 to May 12, with the deadline for fee payment with a late fee shifted to May 13.
During this extended period, educational institutions are required to ensure the completion of the form fill-up process for their students, as mandated by the head of each institution.
The HSC and equivalent examinations for this year are scheduled to commence on June 30, with written tests concluding on August 11. Practical examinations will take place from August 12 to August 21.
