US-Bangla Airlines, a leading private carrier, has embarked on its maiden journey to Abu Dhabi, marking its third destination in the UAE. This strategic move aims to cater to the rising demand among Bangladeshi expatriates residing and working in Abu Dhabi.
Scheduled flights from Dhaka to Abu Dhabi will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with additional flights from Chattogram on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, departing at 5:50 pm. Arrival in Abu Dhabi is slated for 9:10 pm local time. Return flights will depart Abu Dhabi at 10:00 pm, reaching Dhaka and Chattogram at 4:50 am on specified days.
The inaugural flight, accommodating 174 passengers aboard a Boeing 737-800, departed from Chattogram, with a scheduled arrival in Abu Dhabi followed by a return journey to Dhaka. This new route not only enhances connectivity but also fosters stronger ties between Bangladesh and the UAE.
Senior officials from US-Bangla Airlines bid a warm farewell to passengers, underscoring the significance of this milestone. Alongside international services, the airline continues to expand its domestic network, offering flights to key destinations within Bangladesh.
Furthermore, with the introduction of four additional flights on the Dhaka-Chennai route, US-Bangla Airlines now boasts a total of 11 weekly flights, further cementing its position as a preferred choice for travelers.
