Bangladesh is set to experience a temporary disruption in internet services early Friday as maintenance work is scheduled for the South East Asia-Middle East-Western Europe 5 (SEA-ME-WE 5) submarine cable.
The maintenance activity, slated for Kuakata, will necessitate a one-hour disruption in bandwidth supply from 3am to 4am, according to Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC (BSCPLC).
During this period, users may experience partial internet connectivity issues. However, connectivity via the first submarine cable, SEA-ME-WE 4, will remain unaffected, ensuring continued access for users across the country.
