A mild to moderate heatwave grips eight divisions including Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, and Sylhet, with indications pointing to its persistence, as per the latest weather bulletin from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) released on Tuesday.
In contrast, regions such as Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rangpur, and Sylhet may experience relief in the form of rain and thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds.
However, the remainder of the country can expect predominantly dry weather conditions, with intermittent partly cloudy skies, the bulletin further stated.
BMD’s forecast suggests minimal fluctuations in both day and night temperatures nationwide, emphasizing the continuation of prevailing weather patterns.
