In preparation for the vibrant Pohela Boishakh festivities set to take place on Sunday, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has rolled out a comprehensive traffic advisory to ensure seamless celebrations and safety for all participants.
The Traffic Ramana Department issued this advisory via a press release on Saturday, detailing the traffic management plan for the occasion.
The focal point of the celebrations will be Ramna Park in the capital, featuring traditional song performances by Chhayanaut at Ramna Batamul.
To facilitate the smooth flow of traffic, roads surrounding Dhaka University campus and Ramna Park will be cordoned off from 5 am to 4 pm.
