Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) Announces Record Increase of Tk1,750 per Bhori
In a recent press release on Saturday, Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) disclosed the staggering surge in gold prices, reaching an unprecedented Tk1,15,824 per bhori. This substantial increase of Tk1,750 per bhori marks a historic milestone in the local bullion market.
The press release also stated that BAJUS would be promptly adjusting prices in response to the surge. The new rates are set to take effect starting Sunday, ushering in a new era of pricing for gold in Bangladesh.
As per the announcement, the revised rates stand at Tk1,15,824 per bhori for 22-carat gold, Tk1,10,575 for 21-carat, and Tk94,770 for 18-carat.
This significant increment signifies the sixth time BAJUS has revised gold prices upwards this year, underlining the volatility and value appreciation of the precious metal.
