In a significant move, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced a reduction in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk3.34 per kg, setting the new rate at Tk120.18 per kg, down from the earlier Tk123.52.
Effective from 6 pm on Wednesday, this adjustment brings relief to households and businesses, as it translates into reduced expenses.
As a result, the standard 12kg LPG cylinder will now be priced at Tk1,442, marking a notable decrease of Tk40 compared to its previous price of Tk1,482.
