The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has unveiled the results of the written examinations for the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination, marking a significant milestone in the recruitment process.
A total of 11,732 candidates have successfully cleared the written phase of the examination, paving their way to the next stage of the selection process.
The BPSC has made the results accessible on its official website, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all concerned stakeholders.
Moving forward, the successful candidates are slated to undergo viva voce sessions, scheduled to commence from May 8 onwards. Detailed information regarding the interview schedule will be disseminated through newspapers and the BPSC website, facilitating the next steps in the recruitment journey.
The journey towards the 44th BCS began with the commencement of online applications on December 30, 2021, drawing an impressive total of 350,716 applicants. Following the preliminary examination held on May 27, 2023, which saw 15,708 candidates qualifying, the written phase has now narrowed down the pool of potential recruits.
According to the 44th BCS notification, a diverse array of cadres awaits recruitment, encompassing various sectors such as administration, police, foreign affairs, Ansar, audit and accounts, tax, cooperatives, railway transport and commercial, information, post, trade, family planning, food, technical, and education. With a total of 1,710 officers to be appointed across these cadres, the 44th BCS promises a wide spectrum of opportunities for aspirants across different fields.
