In a significant development, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education, Rumana Ali, has revealed plans to recruit 10,000 primary school teachers in the upcoming months. This announcement comes as part of the third phase of teacher recruitment, scheduled to be completed by June.
During her visit to the Comilla Victoria Government College center, where the third phase of the primary teacher recruitment examination for Dhaka and Chittagong divisions was underway, the state minister emphasized the importance of a fair and transparent recruitment process.
“We are committed to ensuring a fair selection process for all applicants,” stated Rumana Ali. “Our ministry is closely monitoring the proceedings to prevent any fraudulent activities and ensure that the examination is conducted smoothly.”
The written examination for assistant teacher positions commenced at 10 am and concluded at 11 am on Friday. A total of 32,199 candidates participated in this phase from Comilla, indicating a robust interest in the teaching profession.
