Excitement fills the air as Dhaka University unveils the eagerly awaited results of the admission test for the academic year 2023-24. DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal proudly presented the outcomes as the chief guest at a virtual event held at the university’s administrative building.
The results encompass various units, including Law and Social Sciences, Science, Business Education, and Fine Arts. Notably, this year witnessed a commendable pass rate across units, with the Arts, Law, and Social Science units securing a pass rate of 10.07%, followed closely by the Science unit at 8.89%. Business Studies boasted a pass rate of 13.33%, while the Fine Arts unit achieved an impressive 11.75% pass rate.
Amongst the high achievers, Pratik Rasul from Notre Dame College clinched the top spot in the Science unit, scoring a remarkable 111.25 out of 120. Meanwhile, Priyoti Mondol from Khulna Govt M M City College emerged as the top scorer in the Arts, Law, and Social Science unit, securing 105.25 marks. Athoi Dhar of Chittagong Commerce College excelled in the Business Studies unit, scoring 105.50, while Badhan Talukder of Bir Shreshtha Munsi Abdur Rauf College stood out in the Fine Arts unit with a total score of 98.15.
For those eager to check their results, the process is straightforward. Simply visit the official DU admission test website (https://admission.eis.du.ac.bd) and enter your Higher Secondary Examination Roll Number, Board Name, Pass Year, and Secondary Examination Roll Number. Alternatively, candidates can text “DU ALS” for Arts, Law, and Social Science Unit, “DU SCI” for Science Unit, “DU BUS” for Business Education Unit, or “DU FRT” for Fine Arts Unit to 16321 from any mobile number to receive their results via SMS.
Qualified candidates are reminded to complete the detailed form and subject selection form on the admission test website from April 3, 2024, at 3 pm, until April 25, 2024, at 11:59 pm. Additionally, subject choice forms will be available for download from April 1, 2024, enabling students to make informed decisions regarding their preferences.
Applicants falling under various quotas must collect the quota form from the respective Dean’s office between April 21, 2024, and April 25, 2024. The form must be duly filled and submitted along with a copy of the downloaded subject choice form within the stipulated timeframe.
