In preparation for Eid-ul-Fitr, road construction activities will cease a week before the holiday and remain paused for three days afterward, ensuring smooth travel for passengers.
The decision was announced during a meeting at the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority headquarters, emphasizing the importance of hassle-free and safe travel during the festive season.
Secretary ABM Amin Ullah Nuri of the Road Transport and Highways Division stated that to facilitate normal traffic flow, all road construction will halt during the Eid vacation, with a directive to clear construction materials from the roads.
