A heinous incident occurred early on Sunday in the Kapalipara area under Gournadi upazila of Barisal, where four idols at a temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali were brutally vandalized.
Gautam Dutta, the president of the temple committee, expressed his dismay, revealing that unidentified individuals forcibly entered the locked temple by breaking a window before carrying out the disgraceful act on the idols of various Hindu deities.
Sub-Inspector Shahidul Islam of Gourandi police station stated that upon receiving the information, the police promptly visited the temple in the afternoon and initiated a thorough investigation.
Law enforcement authorities are actively working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators behind this appalling act of vandalism, ensuring justice is served.
