In a significant update, the results for the Dental Admission Test for the academic year 2023-24 have been officially released, revealing a pass rate of 44.44%. Out of 37,873 students who participated in the exam held on Friday, a total of 22,575 students successfully passed.
Securing the coveted first position is KM Muhtasim Sadik Tanim, achieving an impressive score of 93.75 on the test. The announcement of the results came through a notification signed by Director of Health Education Department (Medical Education) Prof Md Mohiuddin Matubbar on Sunday.
A noteworthy inclusion is the selection of 545 candidates on merit, based on their scores from the admission test and the GPAs obtained in the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations. This diverse group comprises 358 girls and 187 boys.
For aspiring candidates, the detailed results are accessible on various platforms, including the Department of Health Education and Family Welfare website (www.mefwd.gov.bd), Department of Health Education website (www.dgme.gov.bd), and the Department of Health website (www.dghs.gov.bd). Additionally, candidates can also obtain results through SMS.
The successful candidates now have the opportunity for admission to one government dental college and eight dental units in government medical colleges. This latest development marks a crucial step for those aspiring to pursue a career in dentistry in the academic year 2023-24.
