According to Fire Service Control Room Officer Shafiq, the fire broke out on the seventh floor of the 10-storey residential building on Elephant Road precisely at 11:26 am.
Local residents spontaneously joined the firefighting efforts, while the professional fire service teams arrived promptly to intensify the operations. Fortunately, as of now, no casualties have been reported in connection with this incident. The collaborative response has successfully averted potential harm and contained the fire.
