In an essential move for the Dhaka Elevated Expressway Line project, gas supply will be temporarily suspended for 15 hours, starting from 9 am to 12 pm on Wednesday. This interruption is crucial for the emergency replacement and relocation of gas transmission lines affecting various neighborhoods in Dhaka city.
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited have announced that areas such as Moghbazar, Madhubagh, Tejgaon, Hatirjheel, Gabtoli, Green Road, Paribagh, Eskaton, and Dilu Road will be impacted during this period.
All gas consumers in these specified areas will experience a complete shutdown, while those in adjacent neighborhoods may face a temporary reduction in gas pressure. Titas Gas expresses regret for any inconvenience caused during this necessary maintenance period.
This follows a recent three-hour gas supply suspension on Tuesday, from 11 am to 2 pm, in the same areas. The disruption was implemented for the emergency repair of gas transmission lines, underscoring the ongoing efforts to ensure the reliability and safety of the gas infrastructure in Dhaka.
