His versatility was further evident in roles such as Captain Marvel’s father in the Marvel cinematic universe and Deke Slayton in ABC’s ‘The Astronaut Wives Club.’
Born in Toronto on November 25, 1974, Mitchell’s career took off with his debut in Disney’s ‘Miracle’ in 2004. He continued to make his mark with roles like mayor-turned-sheriff Eric Green in CBS’ ‘Jericho’ and, more recently, as Joe in FX/Hulu’s ‘The Old Man’ in 2022.
