The eagerly awaited Dhaka University (DU) admission tests for the 2023-24 undergraduate first-year session are set to kick off this Friday. The initial phase will focus on the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, as announced by Dhaka University Online Admission Test Committee Convener, Professor Dr. Mostafizur Rahman.
Professor Rahman shared that a substantial number of applications, totaling 112,274, have been received for this admission cycle. Among these, 51,391 applicants are from the humanities department, 48,834 from the science department, and 12,049 from the business education department.
The examination is scheduled from 11 am to 12:30 pm, with a carefully allocated time frame. The test consists of a 45-minute Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) section followed by a 45-minute written exam.
A comprehensive evaluation, based on a total of 120 marks, will be conducted during the admission test. The test itself holds a weightage of 100 marks, while an additional 20 marks will be attributed to the candidates’ results from secondary or equivalent and higher secondary or equivalent examinations.
