The Meteorological Department predicts the likelihood of light to moderate rain/thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, in Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, and Sylhet divisions.
While the weather is expected to remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies in other parts of the country, the Met Office reported on Tuesday that a western low-pressure extension is positioned over West Bengal and adjacent areas of India, with seasonal normal low pressure situated over the South Bay of Bengal.
The Meteorological Department also noted the possibility of light to moderate fog during late night to early morning hours nationwide. Additionally, the night temperature may see a 1-2 degree Celsius increase across the country, with a slight drop in the day temperature.
As of 6 am on Tuesday, the relative humidity in Dhaka was recorded at 75%. The sun is scheduled to set in Dhaka at 5:57 pm, and Wednesday’s sunrise is expected at 6:28 am.
