This evening, a fire erupted at a garments factory located in the Sreepur area of Gazipur.
Upon receiving information at 3:58 pm, four fire engines promptly arrived at Globe Gloves (Bangladesh) Manufacturing Limited to extinguish the flames. According to Saiful Islam, the duty officer of Sreepur Fire Service and Civil Defence, the fire had spread to the first and second floors of the building. As of the time of filing this report at 5:57 pm, firefighters were still actively working to bring the blaze under control.
There were no immediate reports of casualties, and the cause of the fire remained unknown at the initial stage of the incident.
