Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal announced that approximately 40 percent of votes were recorded in the 12th parliamentary election.
Providing this information during a briefing for journalists at the EC building in Dhaka around 5:30 pm, he stated, “At this point, this is the reliable estimate of the turnout.”
