The vehicle of the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Khagrachhari in Dighinala was targeted by miscreants who successfully smashed its window around 11 am on Saturday, January 6. At the time of the incident, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jonaid Kabir Sohag was en route from Khagrachari to Dighinala for election duties.
Prompt response from law enforcement resulted in the swift arrival at the scene, and they provided an escort for the vehicle back to the upazila. An ongoing investigation into the incident is being conducted, as reported by the Upazila Executive Officer.
