On Wednesday, T-Mobile US announced that SpaceX had successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket on Tuesday, carrying the initial batch of Starlink satellites capable of transmitting phone signals directly to smartphones from space.
As per the joint announcement made by the U.S wireless carrier and Elon Musk-owned SpaceX in August 2022, T-Mobile will leverage Starlink satellites to offer network connectivity to mobile users in select regions of the United States
