Journalists affiliated with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) have officially inaugurated the Anti-Corruption Reporters Forum (ACRF). The inaugural ceremony took place at the ACC’s media center located in Dhaka’s Segunbagicha on Tuesday. Tawheed Sourav from ATN News assumes the role of the convener for ACRF, with Muhammad Rishad Huda from Independent Television appointed as the member secretary. The convening committee further comprises esteemed members such as Morshed Noman from the Daily Sun, Aditya Arafat from DBC News, MA Rahman Masum from Dhaka Post, Hasib Bin Shahid from Kaler Kantho, Mahbub Kabir Chopol from ATN Bangla, and Sheikh Zahiduzzaman from Bangla Barta. Post-launch, ACRF representatives convened with ACC Chairman Mohammad Moinuddin Abdullah and commissioners Md Jahurul Haque and Asia Khatoon, who lauded the forum’s formation and sought collaboration for anti-corruption initiatives. ACRF’s forthcoming agenda includes the formation of a robust executive committee.
