The Premier Bank PLC has been honored with the “Bilateral Business Excellence Award” by both the Bangladesh-China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCCI) and the China Enterprise Association Bangladesh (CEAB). This distinguished recognition was presented during a gala event at the Radisson Blue Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka, celebrating the exceptional efforts of CEAB and BCCCI members in fostering bilateral economic ties between Bangladesh and China in 2023.
Reazul Karim, the esteemed Managing Director and CEO of Premier Bank, graciously accepted the award from Song Yang, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bangladesh, alongside Avijit Chowdhury, Additional Secretary of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (Bida). The event also witnessed the presence of Yao Wen, the Ambassador of China to Bangladesh.
Leading figures such as Ke Changliang, President of CEAB, and Al Mamun Mridha, Secretary-General of BCCCI, were in attendance. Additionally, Premier Bank’s Additional Managing Directors (AMD) including Syed Nowsher Ali, Shahed Sekander, Nasim Sekander, Shamsuddin Chowdhury, and Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, alongside other top-tier officials from both entities, graced the occasion, emphasizing the significance of this accolade.
