Celebrating photographic talent, the “Metro Rail Photography Contest” crowned its top 10 winners during a prestigious ceremony on Wednesday.
The accolades went to gifted photographers including Abdullah Al Mamun, Tamim e Muhammad Ghazi Muhammad Nazmus Saqib, Tariqul Islam, Shubo Sarwar, Abu Bandhar Siddique, Ramzan Hiru, Rajib Rana Das, and Sagar Pradhan.
Following rigorous evaluation, a panel of five esteemed judges meticulously selected these standout photographs, unveiling the winners amidst much anticipation.
The awards ceremony, graced by officials from the Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA) – Rapid Pass, saw prizes being ceremoniously presented to the deserving winners.
Organized under the banner of “MetroRail Passengers Community – DHAKA” on the Facebook platform, the competition aimed to promote metro rail utilization and garnered participation from nearly 200 enthusiastic photographers. Significantly, this contest marks a pioneering initiative as Bangladesh’s inaugural metro rail-centric photography competition, proudly sponsored by DTCA.
