With their soulful renditions of timeless Qawwali classics like “Damadam Mast Qalandar,” “Kali Kali Zulfon Ke Phande Na,” “Ye Jo Halka Halka Suroor Hai,” “Mere Rashke Qamar,” “Kun Faya Kun,” “Lambi Judai,” and “Mera Dil Ye Pukare Aja,” the Qawwals transported attendees into a world of musical ecstasy. Speaking to New Age, Niaz Qawwal revealed that he and his troupe have dedicated themselves to perfecting the art of Qawwali for the past two decades, performing tirelessly across the country.
